There is something exciting about going through the unreleased portfolio (roughly 3k images) and figuring out which ones shall be brought to the surface. To be shown to the wider audience and finally become physical prints vs just digital captures. This collection introduces the latest addition to the Clouds series, which started way back in 2009 (yes I was doing it before it was trendy) as well as a couple of very classic Kaua'i scenes, captured my way.
I invite you to take your time and see which one for you resonates the most. And of course which one could you imagine lighting up your home, office or place of business!?

Saying there are infinite waterfalls on Kaua'i might even be an understatement. Of course some are more photogenic than others and knowing which ones they are might be tricky. Was lucky enough to have a friend working with the endangered species conservation teams and brought me to this beauty deep within the Koke'e forest. Waterfall perfection!

Shortly after the Covid shutdowns in March of 2020 we had a little flood of the Hanalei River which pushed some mud in to our Gallery space at the time. And after clean up, heading back home, I was able to pull over and catch this fantastic display of light over the kalo fields. The dance of light and rain made for a spectacular show. Always beauty among the chaos.

It's amazing being able to look back at photos taken years and years ago and realize that, with new eyes, and maybe new tech, there are gems that were over-looked. This is an early version of the Oceans series that caught an incredible sunset...in 2010. Hiding for over a decade it now gets new life as the latest release in to the Clouds series.

This particular sunset was spent with my future fiancée enjoying yet another magical day at Makua (Tunnels) Beach. As the sun was getting close to the horizon I decided to wade out in to the water holding my camera just above the water surface to take advantage of the really fun textures and play of light. And of course the perfect beam of light extending over Mt. Makana to top it all off!

Back in March of 2022 I had the chance to spend some time over on Oahu. And while I have been over there plenty over the years this day was more about cruising around and just seeing what there was. I know I've driven by without my camera before and seen these crazy turquoise waters so when they were POPPING I eagerly parked and got to work figuring out how to capture the scene. To me this just is the perfect encapsulation of wanting to put your feet in the sand. And that water color...wow!
